Privacy policy for this website

Pre-launch draft: this policy is being reviewed by our lawyer before launch.

This page covers lamplighterai.com, the website. How the Lamplighter product handles your organisation’s data is set out in its data processing agreement and on the security and privacy page. The controller is named on the legal notice.

No cookies, no tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts are served from this website.

The Request a demo form

When you send the form, your name, work e-mail address, company, number of devices and message are sent to us by e-mail so that we can reply. They are not stored on the website and are never written to its logs; the logs record only that a request arrived and whether it was sent. We use these details only to reply to you and to arrange a demo.

The product assistant

The assistant answers questions from Lamplighter’s published product documents. Your questions, and the conversation so far, are sent to Anthropic, the provider of the AI model that writes the answers, and are processed under Anthropic’s commercial terms. We record each question in the website’s logs with the time, a random identifier for the conversation that is new each time the page loads, whether it was answered, and the model used, so that we can see what people want to know and improve our documentation. We do not record your IP address, browser, any cookie or your e-mail address with it. Please do not type personal data into the assistant.

[TODO lawyer: retention period for the website logs and the transfer mechanism for the model provider.]

Hosting

The infrastructure that serves this website may process your IP address to deliver pages and to protect the site against attacks. [TODO lawyer: name the hosting provider and region once the site is deployed.]

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to hello@lamplighterai.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
